The Best Games Fest was an annual festival of new sports and urban games produced by City of Play from 2012-2016, in partnership with the Come Out and Play Festival in NYC. Like other City of Play projects, these festivals encouraged people to see and experience their urban environment in new ways, contextualizing everyday locations in completely different ways, and serving to inspire participants to think differenty about their city and their fellow citizens.
